Business aircraft services provider and Dubai air show regular
Empire Aviation Group (EAG) announced at the show that its India-based
affiliate has been awarded a non-scheduled operator’s permit (NSOP) by the
country’s civil aviation authority, allowing the company to provide aircraft
management and charter services to the subcontinent’s burgeoning private
aviation community.
The company, known as Empire Aircraft Management
Services Private, has added its first managed business jet – a large-cabin
Embraer Legacy 650 – which will also be available for charter.
EAG managing director Paras Dhamecha describes the
NSOP as “great news” for its Indian affiliate. “This means it can build on its
existing services to offer a broader range of integrated private aviation
services, to meet the demands of one of the most exciting aviation markets in
the world,” he says.
EAG is also marking its 10th anniversary at the
show, where it is presenting in a dedicated pavilion its aircraft management,
sales, charter and brokerage services.
The Dubai-headquartered company is one of the
largest business aircraft operators in the Gulf with a fleet of more than 20
aircraft.
